Aractivities ("we", "us", or "our") provides educational activities primarily for children aged 4–12, as well as resources for parents and teachers. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use aractivities.com.

1. Information We Collect

Aractivities can be used without creating an account or profile. The website may process the following information:

• Contact information — the adult contact form collects first name, optional last name, email address, optional role, subject, and message. We use this information to receive and respond to the enquiry.
• Usage and device information — Google Analytics may process pages viewed, interactions, referring pages, approximate location, browser and device information, IP-derived information, and online identifiers such as cookies or similar technologies.
• Advertising information — when Google AdSense advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process device, browser, network, page, ad-interaction, and limited location information to deliver, secure, measure, frequency-limit, and report on advertisements.

2. Children's Privacy

Aractivities is designed primarily for children, parents, and teachers, and includes content directed to children under 13. We minimise information collection in the learning experience:

• Activities do not require an account or ask children to submit names, email addresses, or other contact details.
• The contact form is intended for parents, guardians, teachers, and other adults. Children should not use it or send us personal information.
• Before advertising is enabled on child-directed content, the site must be designated for Google's child age-restricted treatment. Under that treatment, personalized advertising, interest-based advertising, and remarketing are disabled, and child-directed ad-serving protections apply.
• Advertisements shown on child-directed content may therefore be contextual or otherwise non-personalized. Non-personalized advertising can still use limited information for functions such as delivery, security, fraud prevention, measurement, and frequency limiting.
• If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the adult contact form, email privacy@aractivities.com so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Google Analytics and, when enabled, Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies according to the visitor's region, consent choices, and applicable age-restricted settings. These technologies can support measurement, security, fraud prevention, ad delivery, and frequency limiting.

Some educational games use the browser's local storage to remember progress, scores, levels, badges, coins, or preferences on the same device. This game data is not an Aractivities account and is not submitted to our server by those games. It remains until the browser data is cleared or the game replaces it.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics provides website measurement and reports using usage and device information.
• Google AdSense, when enabled, delivers and measures advertising. Google and participating advertising partners may process information for ad delivery, measurement, security, fraud prevention, and frequency limiting, subject to consent and child-directed restrictions.
• Formspree receives adult contact-form submissions and delivers them to us.
• Google Fonts provides website typography and may receive technical request information, such as an IP address and browser details, when font files are requested.
• External websites — links to Teachers Pay Teachers, Ko-fi, and our social profiles open third-party services governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control their data practices.

5. Consent and Privacy Choices

Before advertising is enabled, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other regions where consent choices are required must be shown a Google-certified consent management message. The message should allow eligible visitors to accept, refuse, or manage applicable choices for advertising and analytics technologies. The site's Google Privacy & Messaging configuration controls this message and must be published separately in the AdSense account.

Age-restricted treatment and a consent choice serve different purposes. A consent choice does not turn child-directed advertising into personalized advertising: personalized ads and remarketing remain disabled on content configured for child treatment.

6. Data Retention

We generally retain contact correspondence for up to 12 months, unless we need it for longer to resolve an enquiry or meet a legal obligation. Google Analytics and Formspree retain data according to our service settings and their applicable policies. Progress saved in local browser storage remains on the user's device until it is cleared.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal, or portability of personal information. To ask a privacy question or exercise an applicable right, contact privacy@aractivities.com.

We may update this policy when our services, technology, or practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date at the top of the page.
