Learn about the prophets of Islam through the Prophet Match memory game! Flip cards and match each prophet to their miracle or key event — just like a classic concentration card game. With 3 rounds of increasing difficulty covering 18 prophets mentioned in the Quran, Prophet Match is a wonderful tool for Islamic studies at home, in mosques and in Islamic schools. Knowledge of the prophets (أنبياء الله) and their stories is a cornerstone of Islamic faith and education.
All cards start face-down. Flip two cards at a time to reveal them — if a prophet card matches its miracle or event card, they stay revealed and you score. If not, both flip back face-down. Remember where cards are to make matches with fewer flips. Complete all pairs to finish the round!
Key prophet-miracle pairs: إبراهيم (Ibrahim) — survived the fire; موسى (Musa) — parted the sea; عيسى (Isa) — healed the sick; نوح (Nuh) — built the ark; يوسف (Yusuf) — interpreted dreams; داود (Dawud) — given psalms (Zabur); سليمان (Sulaiman) — spoke to animals.
Belief in all the prophets and messengers (أنبياء ورسل الله) is a pillar of Iman (إيمان) in Islam. The Quran mentions 25 prophets by name. Learning each prophet's key story builds foundational Islamic knowledge and is part of the curriculum in madrasas and Islamic schools worldwide.
Focus on one corner of the grid at a time. When you flip an event card, try to remember which prophet card you saw earlier in a similar position. Round 1 has the fewest cards — master it before moving to Rounds 2 and 3 which introduce more prophets and require sharper memory.
